We are officially one day past the due date.
Victoria was born three days past her due date. So we’ll see if the trend holds. But Mommy continues feeling great yet very heavy. The baby hasn’t lightened yet (dropped into the pelvis cavity) nor is there dilation. Those are the clear big signs of pending labor.
While the baby has no interest in coming out yet the issue is that the baby is growing with every passing day. So there’s gotta be a careful monitoring of when it is no longer safe to wait for the baby to come naturally.
For now, Mommy is taking it easy as much as possible and just relaxing and letting her body do its thing.
V and I have her some space today and went to the OC WinterFest and met up with my brother and sister in law once I dropped off Ninos at airport.
The biggest revelation with our little lady is that she is quite adventurous. She wanted to ride and did all the crazy fast rides that twist and turn and roll upside down. She had the time of her life.
Mom in the meantime is doing her yoga and prepping for the big delivery day which hopefully is like now.
