SEVEN months left for this baby to be fully cooked in the oven!
Spent the day at the pharmacy getting the mandatory flu shot so this pregnant husband is ache all over! Mommy got the mandatory Tdap vaccine which is to prevent whooping cough.
Big conversation in the Gallegos Adobe has been the To Doula or not to Doula. I’m on the camp of no Do Doula. A doula is a specialist that helps Mommy with delivery and is there to support the process and the big day especially. Since she’s the one carrying baby, it’s best she decide what she feels most comfortable doing.
Baby is growing about half a pound a week. This means our princess now weighs a little north of four pounds. The crazy thing is that this coming week, the baby will likely grow an entire inch and will likely double its current weight by the time she is born. That’s a lot of growing!!!
The amniotic fluid which is where our little lady is currently swimming has reached its full capacity. No more room left! With less fluid to absorb the kicks and pulls, Mommy is feeling the jabs a lot harder now since the fluid cushion is not taking the punches as much.
A very important development happening now is that Mommy is now passing on important antibodies to the baby to protect her from all the germs she will be exposed to once born.
As the Mayo Clinic states, the next four weeks will be a period of extraordinary growth. At 33 weeks, baby girl is almost fully developed. Her eyes now dilated and respond to light. Her lungs are strong.
Mommy is feeling the weight of the baby now and is pooped come 7pm. Usually retiring to bed since it’s also V’s bedtime.
Lotta chatter in this Adobe on the fun side of a pregnancy, the social part! Too bad the pregnant husband doesn’t get invited to girls only baby showers. Not cool at all. Whom can I file that complaint with?
Seven Weeks till the end of this beautiful journey y’all! This is the splendor of 33 weeks!
