For those of you that know me, you know that I have a soft spot for Green Chile. I grew up with it and it always reminds me of my grandmother. She would always make it fresh for me.
Well my brother in law brought a whole satchel for me from New Mexico today. I will be happily roasting them this week!
It’s amazing how food always takes us to a special moment or place in our lives. Maybe that’s why I’m such a foodie. My nostalgia and sentimental fondness is reflected in my svelte waistline!
Baby at this point is also savoring all of Mommy’s food too. The taste buds are now allowing an exploration of flavors.
Today I wanted to introduce the nugget in the oven to some finer foods in life. I grilled some amazing filet mignons to perfection. I think wife is turning vegan as she had no interest after taking a minuscule bite.
Mom brought me some amazing Chile Pasado ( sun-dried Green Chiles) so it paired perfectly with my steak tonight. I hope baby loves that one little bite enough to push mommy into cravings mode!
