36w6d: Full Moon Contractions?

So there is this theory that full moons bring on the birth of babies. Interestingly tonight is a full moon. And no, baby g still has no business showing up!

However, wife had her first one minute long contraction last night and several more continued today.
We are not laughing now, but perhaps will in the future  when we look at this insane period of our lives.

Who can say they have relocated cross country in their 3rd pregnancy trimester? What first-time pregnant mom is 37 weeks pregnant and coordinating contractors in between contractions?

Seriously. My wife is a trooper and total champ. I so appreciate all the sacrifices she has made for our growing family. This entire week she has singlehandedly interviewed and hired several contractors to make our house a home. She wasted no time as they have already started in the house.

We got word today that her car arrives from Dallas this Friday! So thanks to Christina and Jerry got the loaner car these two weeks.

It certainly has taken a village with Mom also taking care of our Cowboy during this time. The walking of the dogs at the crack of dawn and evening has been trying. However, our dinners around Newport Beach have been fantastic!

Rick Bayless is one of my favorite chefs. Had the awesome opportunity yo go to Red O, his new concept at Fashion Island in Newport Beach. Great place!

Here's to wife's feet getting slimmer as they are crazy swollen. Now on to choosing paint colors....
