13w3d: All Peachy but Pica Yes and Pica No! Remembering Paul Walker.

It's December already!!!!!!!

Baby Stats:
  1. CLR length is 2.5 to 3 inches or 6.5 to 7.8 centimeters.
  2. Weighs half to three quarters ounces or 13 to 20 grams.
  3. The baby is now the size of a peach!
  4. The baby has doubled in length since week 7.
  5. His intestines grew in the umbilical cord and are now moving into his stomach. Whattttt!

  1. So I touched the top of her uterus today. It's 4 inches below her belly button. Crazy!
  2. Her uterus is now growing upwards to her abdominal area which will pronounce the bump.
  3. Stretch marks should be more visible now but none are visible thus far.
  4. Her milk sinuses are expanding and prepping for providing nutrition post birth. Whoa!
  5. Is increasingly out of breath after eating.

Today was a quiet nesting day with needed rest. We laughed about a "pica" attack she had last night at a friend's house. She was eating some chips and cheated by dipping them into what she thought was mild and it was hot. Soon after, she had to run to the restroom as a coughing attack took over. During a pregnancy, you can't have hot spices or hot sauce. The baby reminded her so and taught her a not so subtle lesson!

I'm just glad she is not getting the other "pica" cravings. Those are such when a pregnant woman craves nonfoods like paint, dirt, chalk, lie this does actually exist.

As for delicious vitamix drinks of raw veggies and fruit, it made a comeback today and she only drank half a cup. Guess I'm having the kale and beet juice all day Monday.

Just continues eating Thanksgiving leftovers and feeling bloated with that vitamix drink rejected once again.

Paul Walker was also killed in a car accident today. He was the star in the Fast and the Furious movie franchise. But I couldn't help to relive the fact that my brother Ivan was the Paul Walker of this weekend. My brother died in the exact same situation as Paul did - as a passenger in his best friend's car while racing. Only difference is that it was on the day of Ivan's 15th birthday when it happened. Just tragic. My heart goes out to his family. Just terrible.
